Why aren't i getting better at drums?
I've played for nearly 3 years, the first 2 years i learned realy fast but i practise for like 2 hours a day and make no progress whatsoever, someone please help me before i sell my drumkit and give up

I mean, what's the point in that? Blummdum,Yes. Even if the point is unintentional. Everything is life has some kind of point. Maybe you just don't know what the point is in relation to humming to your own tum about a drum.

Idea for a home made drum set.?
I had an idea for a drum set one day in music class. Would I be able to make a set of drums where instead of using plastic for the toms and bass drums I could instead swap it for a really thin type of sheet metal? Same idea for the snare drum, swap the cow hide for the sheet metal. If it is theoretically possible, what type of sheet metal would be suitable for this? I was also thinking about taking cymbals and plating them with silver for the extra ting. Are my ideas possible?
Good beginner drum kit?
I'm going to learn how to play the drums, and I want to get a beginner drum kit. Do I need a 5 piece kit, or is this not necessary? What is a good beginner kit? It doesn't necessarily have to be good quality, just nothing too bad. Until I decide on a drum kit, how can I practice the drums? Thanks
PLEASE HELP!! What drum machine/sampler would you recommend?
I am looking for a drum machine with quality sounding drums effects. Small, portable and easy to use. I want to use it for building beats, and jamming along with on guitar. I looked at the alesis SR18, and was fairly impressed. But idk how if i can export music from it. The Roland Dr.880 looks pretty cool, but it's more expensive. The Akai XR20 is closer to my price range, but it seems like it has very limited effects. I want something I can export onto my computer. Perhaps there is a product I have overlooked. Please Help.
What is better for a beginner drum set?
I thought about beginning to learn how to drum and I was wondering whether electric drums or acoustic would be better to learn on and what the pros and cons of each of them are.
