How to play by ear on piano?
This is what happens with all great pianists you name a song or a piece and they can play it straight away for you.I can't do that, I would need someone to give me the music then I would need time to work it out and practice it.HOW DO THEY DO THAT? They can't have memorized everything so it must be by ear right? But even if you know what the song sounds like, that doesn't mean you can play it on the spot I would still need to figure out the right notes Btw I am an advanced pianist I teach piano part timeBut I have always been brought up learning piano with music I've never been encouraged to memorize what I play or play by ear at all. I read music all the time.

Is it really possible for anyone to learn piano?
I really want to learn piano. I know a lot about music theory, I've written plenty of songs, and I play viola, but it seems that I'm physically incapable of playing piano. I have a two octave midi controller and I just got Synthesia and I tried to play the bass of a simplified version of F r Elise. Oh my god It was horrible I was worse than I thought anyone could possibly be. I got maybe two notes out of the entire song. I literally have absolutely no eye hand coordination and for some unknown reason, I seem to be the only person who just can't play it. Everyone else I know is great their first try.Since I need a piano to learn piano, and I have neither the money nor the room for one, I am never going to learn piano.

I've looked on amazon.co.uk, but I'm not sure if the books they show are from the film, or just other other books called the secret. The film has the battle piece, time travel and duet pieces. It is a Taiwanese film and features Jay Chou if this helps, and you know which film I'm talking about.
